SENIOR AUDITOR

FORTNER BAYENS LEVKULICH & CO., P.C. is currently seeking experienced Senior Auditors.

 

The Senior Auditor will be responsible for the planning and execution of financial statement audits and agreed-upon-procedures engagements, tax planning and preparation. Duties also include reviewing the adequacy of internal controls throughout the organization, creating workpapers that support the findings and audit steps, development of solid recommendations and alternative solutions to issues identified during the audit and staying abreast of advances in technology, auditing techniques, and current pronouncements and developments.

We are offering employment opportunities to CPAs with three to seven years of public accounting experience (preferably with exposure to audits of financial institutions) or with bank accounting or regulatory examination experience.  We also have particular needs for individuals with experience in auditing employee benefit plans. The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following:
3+ years of progressive assurance services experience in public accounting or equivalent
BS degree in accounting
CPA license
Expertise in US GAAP and GAAS
Excellent technical accounting skills and strong software skills
Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, coaching, and training staff
Strong interpersonal and client service skills
Ability to adhere to strict client confidentiality
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Strong leadership skills with a positive team player attitude
Flexibility to travel on a regular basis to out-of-town clients
