John is a CPA and managing director of the firm. He advises individuals and business clients in a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, construction, development and leasing, sales and distribution, health care, retail, service and agriculture.
John concentrates on working with small to medium enterprises (SME's) on strategic, business development, financing and growth issues, as well as tax and business planning.
John received his Bachelor and Master degrees in Accountancy from Miami University, where he was the recipient of the Coopers & Lybrand Graduate Fellowship. He has the distinction of receiving the highest score in the state of Ohio, and one of the highest scores in the country on the CPA examination.
John has served as a founding trustee of St. Raphael Social Service Center, and recently completed seven years of service as a founding trustee of the Oxford Community Foundation. He currently serves on the board of Lifesphere/Knolls of Oxford , Badin High School endowment Committee, Hamilton Community Foundation Professional Advisory Committee and the Catholic Education Collaborative.
John has spoken and written extensively on tax and business topics, and has developed and presented over 20 different continuing education seminars.
When John is not at the office, he is very active in youth sports, serving as a coach for baseball, soccer, football and basketball. He is the head statistician for Badin High School football.
John, and his wife, Kim, spend many hours watching their children participate in a variety of sports activities. They have 3 children in high school and middle school and one daughter who has recently completed her first year of college.
